I dont think its so much fame, kanye been kinda the same personalityhe's not afraid to do what he wants, he doesnt really compromise even though he said that one of hs best albums imho mbdtf was just that.with that said, idk how i feel about this album but im glad its coming.it makes me think of the big three in hiphop/r&b/urban radio kinda feed of each other. Rihannas album shocked me and im still impressedi get the same vibe from pablo, its the album that he wanted to,make just like anti was the album riri wanted.regardless of how you feel about him personally, artistically ye has always been in his own lane, and pushing boundaries wwhere many other artists wouldve just played it safe. He broke the formula rule and music has become more expressive since. Punk rapper reference is spot on. Frustrating, confounding, whatever he is, Kanye is an exciting presence in music, and the arts in general. Got so many thoughts on this after following the album release the past couple of days - the best artists are those who engender strong feelings, often conflicting ones, in their audience. Kanye top tier for this.

Like, I always try to put myself in his shoes when I listen to his new stuff. He has some missteps in his flows, but I think he leaves it there on purpose to show he is human? Like on certain verses, he clearly runs out of breath at the end of some bars - clearly he probably hears and knows this, but maybe keeps it there for the naturalness of it?
