Yes, I have a pretty big collection of instructional material and Hall's stuff is some of the few that I consistently rewatch. I have all of Hall's stuff other than the inverted guard set.My top 3 Hall dvds (I honestly can't pick a favorite) would be Arm Triangles, Back Attacks & Passing the Guard.Honestly though (even though I haven't seen inverted guard) you can't go too wrong with any of Halls sets. No matter the topic you will gain a bunch of helpful info and often of stuff you didn't expect, as he tends to use off topic material as examples at times. Click to expand. The first disc of each set is usually long winded and they've gotten more long winded as time goes on because they've gotten more concept based. The earlier ones were still wordy but they'd have the classic repeat the technique at full speed several times at the end. The last 3rd or so became much more conceptual and as he's demo'ing the techniques he's often adjusting on the fly.

As the ideas got bigger and not as focused on one position they got more wordy. I know some people that don't like it too. But man it helps a lot if you can get past the early talk.
