A New Dawn Addon for Litcube's Universe.Introduction:I always liked the idea of seeing a ton of different ships when flying through the galaxy. Discovering new variations of known ships or encountering completely new types of ships. Being surprised that after 100+ hours of gameplay you see a ship that you never saw before. The possibility of seeing a unique ship, one so heavly customized by its owner that there is only one of it in the entire universe. Exploration, not only of the galaxy but also from many different craft in that galaxy.

Also being able to buy or steal a craft that is truly unique and feel like Han Solo or Malcolm Reynolds. That is the feeling i am trying to create with 'A New Dawn'. The feeling that you are exploring a exciting undiscovered galaxy flying your own ship, one that nobody else has.What is 'A New Dawn':'A New Dawn' is a mod for the awesome and popular 'Licube's Universe' overhaul for X3: Albion Prelude wich adds new ships, weapons and sound effects. It also changes some existing TS class ship models to being more unique for its race.While all included things should work as intended, at this time this package is considered a beta RC version of the mod and therefor is only ment for testing purposes, i dont recommend using this pack for a playthrough at this time.Requirements:To use 'A New Dawn', you need x3: Albion Prelude with only 'Litcube's Universe' installed.Known issues:. All Argon, Split, Paranid and some Boron ships have new engine sounds, this is highly experimental and there will be changes in the future. Today i put my skills to the test and this is the result.' The Viper Mark II or simply the Viper Mk II is a older type of fighter craft and the mandatory 'Starter Ship' that a rookie navy pilot get to start out with. This ship is designed as an interceptor class strike ship, it relies on speed and agility to be able to attack its targets.

Its 3 engines enable it to be one of the fastest ships of its time and it used to be one of the few ships able to attain speeds approaching that of the Xenon N. It also had a higher avoidance level than many other strike ships which increased its chances of survival in combat, and made up for its lower armor. The draw back for the Viper Mark II is that it only has 2 weapons, which is less than any other strike ship. It is this lack of weaponry as to why you rarely see many Viper Mark IIs flying on their own, as they will fly in squadrons for mutual protection. Please let me know what you think.I tried to add all but some of the ships to the shipyards, however it seems to be more difficult than i thought. The ships dont appear in the shipyards yet. I will continue to work on this. In the readme in the package, it says that the ships have been added to the shipyards ingame, ignore this, i wrote the readme before testing it. Dumb, i know.I added the ships to the addonmapsWareTemplate file like this. Code.but they dont show up yet.

Could somebody pls tell me what i missed?Some shps however are more unique in nature and will not be added to any shipyard. In future updates i will add them to the jobs file as a unique vessel, wich means that only one of it will exist in the universe. If you have a savegame, you need to add the ships with a MD- or MSCI Script.
