Fallout 4 Better Fps Mod
Hello thread! Wondering about my computer situation, on Fallout and its performance, because I have really low FPS.Here are the specifications on my 8 year old delicate computer, that runs GTA V at medium quality, maxed out resolution.Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8500 @ 3.16GHz 3.17 GHzRAM: 4.00 GBSystem type: 64-bit system Windows 7Display adapter: AMD Radeon R7 200 Series (Display adapter was changed, so I would run better games)I always know the problem and fix it, this time I don't know the problem: is it because of low RAM? Is it because of processor? Is it because AMD hasn't created 'Beta' Drivers for Fallout 4, like they did for COD Black ops 3 in 15.11 Beta driver? Or maby it is because of my hard drive, because its old.
I still see a lot of topics regarding fps issues. Like at least one on the main page every day that I check the Steam forums. Fallout 4 is just unfortunately one of those games that requires a lot of troubleshooting and configuration in order to get the absolute most out of. It can be very daunting and frustrating, seemingly hopeless even, so I figured I'd adapt a rather comprehensive list of.
Simplistically is it Hardware problem, or Software? What to do?It is really weird, because my pc runs GTA V with 50 Fps, but Fallout 4 with spiky 20 FPS, almost like twitching or should i say mouse lag alike. Why my pc runs GTA V in a good way and Fallout runs in bad way?
There could be a driver fix that helps, but the hardware itself IS holding you back. You compared performance to other games which only goes so far, but again, those requirements are less than what this game is asking for. The RAM may not directly effect the FPS, but it will probably help cause issues as you are using half of the MINIMUM requirement Bethesda is telling you your system needs.Games are coded differently and use the same hardware in different ways at different times. It could very well be that this game isn't coded well to run on your system so while it may be playable, it may not be optimal. Overclocking and modding is incredibly popular, it will however void any warranty on the parts in most cases.

As for corporate marketing, they make a stable chip and market it as such. Not all chips can hit the same marks so while a base 3.5 chip might be able to hit 4.0, all chips may not be able to hit that mark, so it's designed for multiple reasons to be a 3.5 chip.As for the solution, that's great and hopefully you enjoy your time with the game, but keep in mind posters are here to help and offer advice. OCing can only carry you so far and as game requirements increase, eventually you'll have to look at new hardware.Cheers.
